Jo Perry is a Senior Lecturer on the HPD course at CPHT Plymouth, and a guest lecturer for CPHT London. Jo is an experienced Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, working from two busy, prestigious practices in Plymouth – The Observatory Practice and The Tanglewood Practice. She is also a Solution Focused Supervisor, offering individual and groups supervision sessions to a large number of qualified practitioners.

Before training in hypnotherapy, Jo taught various media and creative writing workshops and courses at Plymouth College for Art for both children, and adult students. Jo also has a background in publishing and book arts, with a love of literature, language and storytelling, as well as the creative arts. Early in her career, Jo worked within a voluntary organisation, managing and training teams of volunteers to support victims of crime. She has also worked as a learning enabler, helping university students with mental health difficulties to work at their best potential during their higher education studies.

Jo continues to develop her own practice through ongoing learning, reading, CPD and supervision. During her career, she has discovered a deep desire to help people learn and grow, and she is delighted to now have the opportunity to develop this further through teaching CPD seminars and Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma modules in Plymouth.
