Refund and Cancellation Policy

CPHT Course

CPHT appreciate that occasions arise which necessitate students to cancel their course due to unforeseen circumstances. We therefore try to be flexible in our approach to each individual case. Obviously though in some cases this has an effect on our costs and resources, i.e. rooms, Tutors, catering and we must try to ensure that all parties are not disadvantaged through loss of earnings etc. Any such issues are resolved at the discretion of the Senior Lectures.

You may cancel the course booking within 14 calendar days of receiving your confirmation of acceptance on to a nominated course without giving any reason; you are entitled to a full refund of any deposit paid within the 14 day cancellation period.

Cancellations and refunds in circumstances outside those described above, and/or following the expiry of the 14-day cancellation period, are subject to the terms and conditions set out in this refund and cancellation policy. For the avoidance of doubt, the cancellation period will expire 14 days after the receipt of confirmation of acceptance onto a nominated course.

To cancel a course booking, you must let us know of your decision to cancel by email or in writing sent by registered post. You must clearly state your intention to cancel the course. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication to cancel before the 14 day cancellation period has expired.

We will reimburse any deposit you may have paid using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

No refund will be made for non-attendance of any of the Modules once the Course has commenced. CPHT will not accept name changes for attendees.

CPD

To cancel a place on a CPD, notice of cancellation must be given by email or in writing sent by registered post. You must clearly state your intention to cancel the CPD.

  • If you cancel at least 30 days prior to the start of the CPD you are accepted onto you will receive a full refund of any deposit paid minus a 10% administration fee.
  • If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior to the start of the course you will receive a 50% refund of the deposit paid.
  • If you cancel less than 14 days before the event you will not be entitled to a refund of your deposit.

CPHT will not accept name changes for attendees.

Cancellations by CPHT and changes to Course or CPD content

The CPHT Course and CPDs are constantly updated and while we endeavour to deliver these as advertised there may inevitably be occasions where we have to change content without prior notice or, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel an event.

In the case of a Course or CPD cancellation students/attendees will be offered a full refund of any monies paid to date. CPHT will not compensate for accommodation arrangements time spent travelling or away from the home or place of work.
