Jennifer trained as a solution-focused hypnotherapist with CPHT in 2019 and has run a full-time clinic covering West Lancashire and Merseyside ever since. Her background is in Women’s health; she was a Midwife in the NHS for 12 years and a Contraceptive and Sexual Health Nurse for four years, having then gone on to train and run a Hypnobirthing business before training as a Hypnotherapist.

It was her own experiences in Hypnobirthing her children at home which led to her becoming a Hypnobirthing teacher and then a Hypnotherapist. She has a particular interest in Women’s Mental Health, which has led her to write and teach her own CPD for CPHT in Women’s health biannually.

When Jennifer was looking for a Hypnotherapy course, CPHT’s approach to learning was not too dissimilar to her midwifery training, which she liked: the combination of classroom-based knowledge and practical skills throughout the course.

Since qualifying, she has continued to develop her skills and widen her knowledge base, completing the Diploma in Medical Hypnotherapy in 2021 and becoming a Supervisor for Hypnotherapists in 2023.

When she is not running her busy clinic, Jennifer enjoys family time with her kids, reading, baking, doing one of her many hobbies, walking her cheeky dog, or getting in a sneaky nap.
