Sian Noon
Senior Lecturer
Sian is the Founder and CEO of The Youth Fairy, a nationwide network of Solution Focused Therapists specialising in supporting children, teenagers, young adults and their families. She is also a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and Senior Lecturer at CPHT.
Alongside leading The Youth Fairy, Sian continues to run a busy therapy practice, working directly with children, teenagers, young adults and parents. She also facilitates workshops, CPDs and wellbeing programmes in schools and other organisations.
Over the years, she has supported both young people and adults with challenges such as anxiety, stress, low confidence, anger, trauma, performance confidence, emotional regulation difficulties and school-related concerns. This extensive clinical experience ensures that the training she delivers is grounded in the realities of modern therapeutic practice rather than theory alone.
Before retraining as a therapist, Sian spent over a decade working in education as a qualified secondary school teacher and later as a Head of Year. In addition to teaching in the classroom, she was responsible for the pastoral care and emotional wellbeing of students and worked closely with families, school leaders and external agencies to support young people facing a wide range of challenges. She also developed coaching and wellbeing initiatives within schools and delivered training to educational professionals.
Today, Sian combines her experience as a therapist, clinical supervisor, educator and business owner to provide students with a unique learning experience. Having successfully built The Youth Fairy into a growing national franchise whilst maintaining an active clinical practice, she is passionate about helping CPHT students develop not only the skills needed to become effective therapists, but also an understanding of what it takes to build a successful and sustainable practice.
As a qualified Clinical Supervisor, Sian is committed to maintaining high professional standards and supporting therapists throughout their careers. She brings this same commitment to her role at CPHT, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves, ask questions and grow in confidence.
Students often comment on Sian’s ability to make complex concepts easy to understand and apply in practice. Drawing on her background in teaching, therapy, supervision and business development, she combines evidence-based theory, neuroscience and real-world experience to help students bridge the gap between the classroom and the therapy room.
