CPHT Sheffield held its first Solution Focused Hypnotherapy Training course back in 2019 and has gone from strength to strength, training students from all over Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
The course is held at Leonardo’s Hotel, Sheffield, which is in a city centre location in easy reach of the railway station with car parking close by. The classrooms are comfortable, with free WiFi access and there are breakout areas for relaxing and working.
Sheffield itself has a strong academic tradition with two Universities nearby and has good transport links. It has a strong wellness and therapy community and is also known for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Jane Fox
Jane trained in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy in 2014, after 30 years working in Clinical Research the Pharmaceutical Industry. She went on to become a Senior Lecturer at CPHT Manchester in 2019. She subsequently qualified as a Supervisor, and set up CPHT Sheffield in 2019 and completed the Advanced Hypnotherapy Diploma in 2022. Jane has a full-time hypnotherapy practice in Stockport and supervises around 20 fellow hypnotherapists. She also presents courses for CPHT in Psychoneuroimmunology, Ethics and Professional Standards and The Gut-Brain- Axis.

Based on the latest research and neuroscience, CPHT’s accredited Hypnotherapy Diploma Course will equip you to become an effective and business-ready solution focused Hypnotherapist. Whether you have prior experience as a helping professional or are looking to completely change your career, you can graduate with all the necessary skills and knowledge you need to begin your career immediately.
Successful completion of the course leads to the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH). In addition, successful completion of your accompanying portfolio leads to the Level 4 NCFE accredited Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD).
Your diploma level hypnotherapy training is made up of 10 modules delivered one weekend a month, over 10 months. This allows you time to practice yours skills and build your confidence between modules. It also means you can fit your training around your life and current commitments.

Our hypnotherapy course typically starts running around March or April and again in September or October. The weekend course is our most popular course, and is available at every school. Our weekday course is only available in certain schools and runs on Thursdays & Fridays.

There are plenty of local cafes and shops nearby in Sheffield city centre. The hotel has a restaurant but this is not always open at lunch time. The hotel can accommodate overnight guests. The hotel has a good Wi-Fi reception with a password available from reception.
Car parking is available at the APCOA Moor Car Park on Eyre Street (Eyre Street, (The Moor) MSCP, Eyre Street, Sheffield, S1 4PY). Charges of £7.00 per 24 hours apply. Contact the car park for further details. Please ensure the blue token you receive upon entry is scanned on all occasions at the hotel reception before departing the car park.

The hotel reception is accessible from street level, lift access is available to upper and lower floors of the hotel.
