Taught by highly experienced lecturers who run their own successful practices, our program combines the latest insights from neuroscience with real-world applications. The course is accredited by the NCFE and leads to two Diploma level qualifications – the prestigious Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) and the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Throughout your journey, you’ll gradually build your practice, gaining the skills and confidence you need to thrive. Alex Brounger
Senior Lecturer
Following a successful career in Learning & Development Alex Brounger became a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist in 2011. He trained with David Newton at CPHT Bristol and became a full-time Clinical Hypnotherapist in May 2012. He has been running two busy practices in Stroud and Cirencester, in Gloucestershire, ever since. Wanting to help other people enjoy the career he has enjoyed so much Alex became a Hypnotherapy Supervisor in 2015 and is now Supervisor for Hypnotherapists across the world. This desire to support others in their careers also led him to accept the role of CEO of the AfSFH between 2016 and 2018.

Anne Wyatt
Senior Lecturer
Anne is a respected CPHT Senior Lecturer with over 20 years of experience in adult training. Known for her compassionate, supportive teaching style mixed with a good sense of humour, she creates a supportive classroom environment where countless numbers of students become confident Solution Focused Hypnotherapists. She has also run her thriving hypnotherapy practice in Banchory since 2014 as well as supervising CPHT graduates, ensuring their continued success. Outside of work, Anne enjoys life with her husband and two mischievous cats. She is an accomplished orchestral musician as well as a keen biker, albeit on her 3-wheeled Yamaha Virago trike.

Elaine Neale
Senior Lecturer
Elaine is a key member of the CPHT Senior Lecturer team in Scotland bringing her sense of fun to the classroom along with her knowledge, experience, clarity and supportive approach. She’s passionate about Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and enabling students to become capable and confident therapists. Elaine lives in Stirlingshire with her husband and son and runs her own private practice in Falkirk, established in 2019. She’s also a hypnotherapy supervisor for graduates now practicing as therapists. In her free time, Elaine is an avid reader both for continued learning and a bit of entertainment and escapism.

Hypnotherapy Diploma Course
Based on the latest research and neuroscience, CPHT’s accredited Hypnotherapy Diploma Course™ will equip you to become an effective and business-ready solution focused Hypnotherapist. Whether you have prior experience as a helping professional or are looking to completely change your career, you can graduate with all the necessary skills and knowledge you need to begin your career immediately.
Successful completion of the course leads to the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH). In addition, successful completion of your accompanying portfolio leads to the Level 4 NCFE accredited Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD).
Your diploma level hypnotherapy training is made up of 10 modules delivered one weekend a month, over 10 months. This allows you time to practice yours skills and build your confidence between modules. It also means you can fit your training around your life and current commitments.

Our hypnotherapy course typically starts running around March or April and again in September or October. The weekend course is our most popular course, and is available at every school. Our weekday course is only available in certain schools and runs on Thursdays and Fridays.

Centrally located, there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants a short walk form the Jurys Inn Glasgow Hotel.
There are a couple of parking options less than five minutes walk from the hotel. Choose from NCP Car Park Glasgow Oswald Street which charges £7.50 for 24 hours. Alternatively Qpark Jamiaca Street charges £8 for 24 hours. To secure these discounted rates, in both cases, be sure to get your ticket validated at the hotel reception.
The Jurys Inn Hotel is only 5 minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station. Exit the station on to Union Street and turn right (heading south towards the River Clyde). Walk straight over Argyle Street where Union Street becomes Jamaica Street and the Jurys Inn Glasgow is the final building on the right handside.
The Jurys Inn Glasgow Hotel has disabled access directly to the conference suite via the main lifts.
