Mention of “DSFH”, “Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy” “CPHT”, “Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training”, “SFH” and “Solution Focused Hypnotherapy” or any other reference to CPHT on any media (website, social media, brochures etc) for advertising or commercial purposes can only be used if a full Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) is obtained.

  5. Students may promote their Marketing during training (website, social media etc), however, they must make clear their status of “Student” on all promotional media.

  6. Supervision will be conducted under the guidance of lecturers/licensees until Module 8. From Module 8 onwards, students are permitted to charge half-price for sessions and will establish contracts with their own clients. From this time students will need to be supervised by a third-party supervisor who sits outside of their lecturing team to prevent dual relationships.

  7. During Modules 9 and 10 it is expected that students undertake 1.5 hours per month of supervision either in a group setting or 1:1.

  8. Following completion of training, students have the option to select their supervisors independently.

  9. CPHT reserves the right to update the course content of any training course at any time and without notice should new research come to light to support learning.

  10. If a lecturer is unable to teach due to unforeseen circumstances, CPHT reserves the right to appoint a stand-in lecturer to maintain course continuity.

  11. Mandatory Membership with The National Hypnotherapy Society.
Upon commencing training with CPHT, students are required to register as members of The National Hypnotherapy Society. Membership is essential to align with the professional and ethical standards expected of practitioners in training. This membership must be maintained throughout the duration of the course and is a condition of enrolment.

  12. Commitment to Professional Standards
Students are expected to adopt a positive Solution Focused approach throughout the course. They confirm that they have read and understood both The National Hypnotherapy Society Code of Ethics and the National Council for Hypnotherapy Code of Conduct, Performance and Ethics and the AfSFH Code of Conduct. Adherence to these codes is mandatory throughout training to ensure professional integrity and conduct.

  13. Students must take out Professional Liability Insurance before commencing hypnotherapy sessions on volunteers. This includes friends and family.

  14. When practising on members of the public, students must work exclusively with consenting adults who have completed the required consent form.

  15. It is the student’s responsibility to source clients whilst on the course who will act as case studies.

  16. If due to unforeseen circumstances the course is unable to run on a particular date, CPHT reserves the right to reschedule the course at a later date.

  17. If due to unforeseen circumstances face to face training is unable to take place CPHT reserves the right to continue training via online conferencing. If this is not acceptable to a student, they will be given the choice of deferring to another school where training is face to face or deferring to a future face to face Intake.

  18. The awarding of the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) is subject to students attending all 10 Modules (120 hours), and full payment of the course.

  19. Submission Deadline and Fees for both the Clifton Practice Level 4 Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and/or Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD)
Both the Clifton Practice Level 4 Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and The Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma (HPD) are optional Level 4 qualifications. If students do not complete the portfolio and case study elements of either qualification by the end of Module 10, they must submit their portfolios within 24 months (2 years) of their graduation date to claim the qualification.

    • No Fee Period: Portfolios submitted within 12 months (1 year) of the graduation date will not incur an administrative fee.
    • Late Submission Fee: Portfolios submitted between 13 and 24 months after the graduation date will incur an administrative assessment fee of £150 to cover late submission costs.

  21. Students consent to receiving Solution Focused Hypnotherapy from qualified therapists and fellow students in training.

After the 14-day period, the deposit is non-refundable.
