During the CPD, we explore how changes in reproductive hormones can affect mood, sleep, stress levels, and overall well-being. You will learn about the connection between hormones and the brain, and why this stage of life can sometimes bring challenges such as anxiety, low mood, overwhelm, and disrupted sleep, and how regaining balance will benefit the women in your clinic.
Understanding what is happening in your body can be incredibly empowering. With the right knowledge and support, women can begin to reduce stress and anxiety, improve their sleep, and regain a greater sense of calm, control, and confidence. Many women experience changes in their emotional well-being during this time of life. In fact, women are significantly more likely than men to experience common mental health challenges, particularly during periods of hormonal change.
Recognising the role hormones can play helps remove blame and self-criticism, allowing women to approach this phase with greater self-compassion. Through supportive, solution-focused hypnotherapy techniques, women can learn practical ways to manage symptoms such as anxiety, overwhelm, sleep disturbances, low mood, and reduced confidence. The aim is to help clients develop resilience, reconnect with their inner strength, and move forward feeling calmer, clearer, and more in control.
This approach focuses on helping clients understand their mind and body while supporting them in creating positive change, enabling them to navigate perimenopause and menopause with greater ease and well-being.
