Reviews

Claire is an engaging trainer and held our attention throughout the online training. She obviously has a wealth of knowledge in the subject area, and is very enthusiastic about sharing it, which came across in the session. I am grateful that she shares this, as it is excellent background information. I thoroughly enjoyed the training, found it really useful and I know it will help me in my practice. Thank you.

This has been one of the best CPDs I have taken part in. I knew that Claire would deliver a fab CPD, having had her as one of my lecturers whilst training, but this CPD surpassed what I thought we were getting. I came away feeling so much more confident with clients sharing their medication and the information I can share with them during the IC/brain revision. A huge thank you to Claire for delivering this session.

Course Content

This unique CPD, delivered by an experienced NHS pharmacist and hypnotherapist, is aimed at giving you the knowledge and confidence to deal with all the above, while also explaining the rationale behind the use of many other common prescription medicines in a way that combines the best of SFH and pharmacy knowledge.

Many of our clients come to us while receiving mainstream treatment, which may or may not be directly connected to their aims for hypnotherapy.

Some of those clients may be taking prescribed medication which might impact on their sessions with us or they may want our help to do without them – this CPD will help you to feel more confident to answer questions about how solution focused hypnotherapy can support them in these aims, and feel knowledgeable about working with these clients while also adding to your understanding of how the brain and body are so intimately connected.

NO previous knowledge of medication or neuroscience beyond what you covered as part of your HPD is needed as this course is suitable for therapists at every level of experience from newly qualified to years in practice.
