This CPD will explain the relevant fundamental principles of finance in a simple way, giving the therapist the confidence to maintain their own records independently, saving time and money in the process.
Live online events
Description
For the best CPD experience, this session requires a minimum of 4 bookings and has a maximum capacity of 15 attendees. Please check the “Places Remaining” section for the latest availability. If the minimum number of bookings is not reached by 6pm the day before the CPD, the session will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued within 3–5 working days. Unfortunately, bookings cannot be transferred to another date or alternative CPD session.
This CPD will enable you to confidently maintain accurate records (income, expense, tax, budget etc) and independently complete your own tax return without the need of employing external resources.
There can very often be the temptation to over complicate things with regards to accounting and finance, so I would like the therapist to finish the CPD knowing that they have the knowledge, tools and resources to put systems in place to make the process simple.

Rebeka is a CIMA qualified Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) and also holds the HPD qualification for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
On a personal level, Rebeka likes to think she'd also bring a bit of light heartedness to the "dull" subject! She loves accounting but likes to think of herself as a non-stereotypical accountant! She wants the CPD to feel fun but informative. She loves to share her knowledge and expertise with others, and since qualifying as a Hypnotherapist in 2022 she has been building her practice and also enjoy going out to networking groups, Corporate businesses and the WI to present talks.
In addition to this, since October 2024 Rebeka is the Head of Finance for the AfSFH so she is particularly passionate about supporting therapists in any way that she can, but particularly from a finance perspective.
